Suite-case II for trombone explores the extremes of sonic expression on both energetic level and in terms of technical qualities of the instrument. Rapid shifts between dynamic contrasts and textures reaching from the most agile rhythms to almost timeless rests guides the musician and the listener to the limits of perception where new horizons start to emerge. The utmost, almost unbearable intensity opens up space for different sensibility.
